Mission & Vision

Our mission is focus on leveraging the advances in machine learning methodologies to discover, develop and evaluate algorithms to model complex and nonlinear dynamical systems. The lab provides the infrastructure, leadership, and resources to foster scholarly activity, increase knowledge and scientific discoveries, and promote interdisciplinary research.

Our vision is to become a leading labroatory for innovative and collaborative research in machine learning. We strive to:

  • Conduct fundamental and applied research in machine learning
  • Disseminate knowledge through publication in leading journals
  • Maintain capability to assist industry by providing technical expertise
  • Train highly qualified personnel
  • Advocate the growth in AI-related education
